Pennsylvania Voter ID Law Prevails In Court

August 16, 2012. Pennsylvania's new Voter ID Law will go into effect before the November election as planned. The new Voter ID Law survived a challenge when a Pennsylvania District Court Judge Robert Simpson denied a motion for preliminary injunction in a lawsuit brought by the ACLU and NAACP to block Pennsylvania's new Voter ID Law from taking effect. Judge found ACLU claims of voter disenfranchisement 'Not Credible'.
